Lydia Touliatou

Biografia

Lydia is a London based choreographer and graduate of Trinity Laban. Since the age of 13 she has been training in Bharatanatyam, classical Indian dance, which she employs in her work research and choreographic questions. She is also interested in the practice and temporality of butoh.

Her inspiration usually comes from current events of political nature. Lydia is interested in future realities and the symbiosis of technology and live performance on stage or screen. She is hoping to collaborate with many artists that hold the same interests and expand the possibilities of dance performance.
