Artist presentation
I am an actor with a BA from Norway and an MA from the Theatre Academy in Helsinki. My work is rooted in the body and physical expression, where text, voice and movement meet in a shared stage language. I have worked across several genres during my training, and professionally in both comedy and drama, gaining experience from diverse ensembles and working processes. I am particularly interested in exploratory processes and interdisciplinary collaboration, and aim to work within a Nordic context. I strive to bring presence, energy and precision to each production while continuing to develop my artistic identity.
Professional dream
To work within the independent theatre field, engaging in diverse productions that move between abstract and classical work. I aim to be part of processes that explore different artistic expressions, and to collaborate with artists across disciplines and traditions.
Special skills and competencies
Strong physical stage presence and a body-based approach to acting, integrating text, voice, and movement. Professional experience in both comedy and drama, with adaptability across different genres and production contexts. Skilled in ensemble work and collaborative creative processes, including working under time pressure. Trained in both classical and contemporary acting methods, with an interest in interdisciplinary and exploratory theatre practices. I also aim to work from a minority perspective and use theatre as a space to address and reflect on social and societal issues. Multilingual working capacity within a Nordic context.
