Maya’s work strives towards inhabiting liminal electrical frictions between physical states, bodies, objects or different artistic mediums. Her work aims to combine dance with sound, light and scenography, searching for energetical in-between tensions through the lens of movement and choreography. She is the co-founder of COMMON VOID, an interdisciplinary platform where students from different schools of performing arts in Brussels (P.A.R.T.S., INSAS, ESAC..) share and exchange their knowledge, practice and tools.
