Biography

Hallveig Kristín Eiríksdóttir is a theatre director living and working in Reykjavík & Helsinki.
Themes that are recurring in her work and that she finds eternally interesting and inspiring are tradition, breakups and hidden encounters, which she explores through theatre, performances and contemporary music, both within institutional theatre and independently. Most of her work happens within collaboration and she is a founding member of multi-art group CGFC & performance group Losti Collective, with whom she is active. She is also a founding member and curator of artist run theatre space ”tóma rýmið” in Reykjavík. Upcoming works include contemporary opera ”NEST” with composer Tytti Arola (Helsinki, 2027) and performance ”STINK OF DEATH” with CGFC (Reykjavík, 2026).
