Biography

Nicole Oga is a radical thinking dance artist and educator, community organiser, and yoga instructor who approaches her work through an intersectional lens that is influenced by abolition, liberation, anti-racist, black feminist praxis. She regularly questions her practices to ensure she is inclusive and in true solidarity with her community, following the lead of those who are most impacted. She has taught contemporary dance, partnering, and improvisation for over 12 years to a wide range of ages, children to adults. Currently Nicole is working with cultivating a caring community within dance education by bringing abolition and collective liberation values into dance education.

One dream is to be a professor of dance at a university.
