Biography

I have an endless curiosity about different approaches to dance, which has led me to study not only in Finland but also abroad. I have graduated from the Bachelor’s Programme in Dance at the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki and broadened my perspective through exchange studies in South Korea (Korea National University of Arts) and the Netherlands (Amsterdam University of the Arts). What has brought me into the world of contemporary dance is my strong background in classical ballet, which has significantly influenced my choices and development over the years.

In the field of dance, I hope to be able to work in diverse projects and environments. I am constantly striving to develop my movement language and critical thinking to find and express myself better. In the creative process, openness and responsibility of the work community are important factors to me. I find the process of working together very enriching. As a dance artist, I am interested in building bridges between my European and Asian identities and exploring the relationship between dance and different instruments.
